We are a UK-based couple trying to make the most of any time off to discover beautiful places around the world! Eventually we want to up sticks and travel the world, but in the meantime we’re enjoying amazing experiences far and wide, in the limited time we have.
We wanted to combine our love of photography, writing, exploring, and trip-planning into a travel blog which is not only a wonderful collection of memories for us, but also a useful tool for others wanting to get started with their next adventure. It’s a project that is close to our hearts and we can’t wait to grow it as we travel the world together.

Jey
Jey is a caring and adventure-loving guy from Switzerland. He has big dreams and an even bigger heart. Jey is inspired by exploring the unknown, and is truly happy when he finds a peaceful, remote location, away from the whizz of his daily life.
Far from totally relinquishing modern life, however, Jey is passionate about new technologies, and is constantly thinking of ways to combine this with his love for travel, either in the planning stages or on the adventure itself. Plus, he knows all the tricks for hunting down the best deals online. It can’t be denied that he’s a foodie, and, despite our attempts to travel on a budget, he can’t say no to a good restaurant serving delicious local food! Always on the lookout for quality (what else do you expect from a Swiss guy!), he’s full of great advice to help others get the most out of their trip, and it was his idea, and long-held dream, to begin this travel blog together.

Mia
Mia is a funny, considerate and loving woman from England, who’s been living up in Scotland for the past four years. If you ever ask her how she’s finding it, or ask for recommendations of places to visit, you might end up listening to a never-ending story as she absolutely loves it and knows it like the back of her hand! Listening or reading her stories is a pleasure, however, as she talks with passion and a lot of enthusiasm. She loves reading and writing, is fascinated about discovering new places, and has enjoyed teaching Jey about her beautiful country that has so much to offer when it comes to the countryside. If you ever have the chance to see her on holiday, you will discover how she loves good food and how excited she gets whenever she sees her name somewhere! Trust me, seeing her so enthusiastic and happy will make you want to smile too!
